Meditation is a movement in and out of the unknown. You are not there, only the movement. You are too pretty or too great for this movement. It has nothing behind or in front of it.It is that energy which thought-matter cannot touch. Thought is perversion, for it is the product of yesterday;it is caught in the toils of centuries and so is confused, unclear. Do what you will, the known cannot reach out for the unknown. Meditation is the dying to the known.

200 Cigarettes

200 Cigarettes is a fine piece of entertainment for this holiday season.
Besides the cast acting their asses off, it will leave you craving a night just like this.
Happy New Year!

Rae Dawn Chong

I thought Rae Dawn Chong was super awesome when I was a kid. She's a Canadian actress featured in many flicks from the late 80's and early 90's such as Beat Street, The Color Purple, Commando and also appearing in the original Melrose Place series. Yes, I will admit wanting to be like her. She was also featured as Mick Jaggers love interest for his video "Just another Night", which pretty much solidifies her as one hot bitch.

Odd Future are definitely the most interesting Black kids around these days.
They remind me of (my favorite rap group) the Wu Tang Clan even though they are straight outta LA, repping skate culture and humor belonging only to the blissful ignorance of youth. Watching clips of them had me nostalgic, this kind of energy and charisma has been missing from hip hop culture for a very long time. We're used to hearing rappers shoot for hit song after hit song, we don't get to see movements springing up and coming to life (the way rap culture did originally). I'm a little torn. I love the Odd Future as artists. I'm not so sure I'll appreciate their fan base lol........only one way to find out, catch the show!

Articulate!

I'll be the first to admit it. Articulation isn't one of my strengths as a vocalist, lol,
anyone who's worked with me can tell you that.
My heart and head has always been more interested in the passion and character of the delivery.
However, I do want everyone to know what I'm saying and not have to make up funny lyrics like when you were a kid and didn't understand the words, or in the 80s where the mixes were so artsy you couldn't quite hear. So I looked up a couple of articulation exercises on youtube and found this. If you don't need to practice your vowel sounds and consonants please watch anyways
this video is soooooooooo funny.
